Ocean Nova is a modern and comfortable expedition vessel. She was built in Denmark in 1992 and fully refurbished in 2006 and has since benefitted from annual upgrades and improvements. Her ice-strengthened hull is ideally suited for Polar travel and with a maximum of just 78 guests, the Ocean Nova offers an intimate expedition experience.
In addition to a glass-enclosed observation lounge and presentation room, Ocean Nova also has a spacious dining room, a bar, a library, a small gym, and an infirmary. The ship has a fleet of seven Zodiac boats that are well suited for disembarking and wildlife watching and on selected departures offers a range of optional activities including kayaking, camping and snowshoeing.

Single cabins are located on the Upper Deck and feature 1 lower berth, desk, chair, closet and private facilities. Approximately 8 square metres in size.
Twin cabins are located on the Upper or Bridge Deck and feature 2 lower berths, desk, chair, closet and private facilities. Approximately 10 square metres in size.
Triple cabins are located on the Upper Deck and feature 2 lower and 1 upper berth, desk, chair, 2 closets and private facilities. Approximately 14 square metres in size.
