Introducing South America’s first luxury sleeper train, the Belmond Andean Explorer. The train crosses through breathtaking cities on its way from Cusco to Lake Titicaca (Puno) and Arequipa, and exploring the wonders of Peru.

Aboard there is sleeping for 48 Passengers and the train carries 55 Staff on board. Carriages are named after the local flora and fauna. There are 2 Dining cars (Llama and Muna), and 1 Observation car (Ichu). There is also a Piano bar (Maca). A Spa car (Picoflor) is to be added later (yes! a spa on a train.)

The train consists of 24 En-suite cabins (2 deluxe double, 6 junior double, 11 twin, 5 bunk-bed cabins), including one that is wheelchair-accessible.

Schedules:
Peruvian Highlands: Departures are every Thursday morning from the Cusco station.
Andean Plains and Islands of Discovery: Departures are every Saturday night from the Arequipa station.
Spirit of the Water: Departures are every Tuesday morning from the Cusco station.
Spirit of the Andes: Departures are every Wednesday at midday from the Puno station.
