Mara Expedition Camp’s two specially designed Land Cruisers are totally open-sided (a rarity in the Mara) offer
300-degree views which provide ideal opportunities for photography. Under the guidance of our top guides, each
vehicle comes fully-equipped with a stocked fridge and photography tools.
Leaving early in the morning or late afternoon in a 4x4 open vehicle and explore the exciting wilderness, undisturbed. These times will be most ideal, as many wildlife species are active during these periods. Allow the world revolve around you, as you roam endlessly in the vehicle to seek exciting wildlife discoveries.
Fly across the Maasai Mara via a hot air balloon and explore nature from above. This is truly an unique experience as there are many discoveries can be found, beyond your wildest imaginations. Allow yourself for a comfortable relaxing moment as you sit back and enjoy the panoramic journey. *This activities is at an additional cost.
Local Village Visits
For those who would like something more relaxing and less adventurous, they can consider the community out-reach programs. Guests will visit the local communities and learn about their lifestyle living in the wilderness. It is up to the guests if they are willingly to contribute to the community developments.
Throughout the reserve, animals are to be seen everywhere due to the abundance of water source near the lodge. Hence you are able to sight for exotic species from the platforms of the lodge. The lodge is also located on top of the hill which allows guests to see further in the far distance. Alternatively, guests can also head downwards to the bottom of the hill where they can observe wildlife more closely.
