Tonga

Welcome to the Friendly Islands, where natural beauty is only surpassed by the warmth and authenticity of the people.

Discover the magic of the Kingdom of Tonga, which consists of 176 islands filled with pristine beaches, stunning coral atolls, active volcanoes and untouched rainforests. The warm waters of Tonga aren’t just loved by tropical sun-seekers, and every year from around July to November they’re also a nursery for humpback whales that migrate from Antarctic waters to give birth.

Facilities and resorts aren’t developed to the levels found on some of its more popular Pacific neighbours but for us, this is part of its charm. Tonga earned its nickname as the Friendly Islands back in 1773 because of how they received Captain Cook, but the name still holds true today and you will find some of the most friendly and laidback people on the planet.
