Day 1: Arrival Day
Individual transfer by Flybus shuttle bus from Keflavik airport to your accommodation in Reykjavik. You may explore Iceland’s capital city on your own if time allows.
Day 2: South Iceland Adventure – Seljalandsfoss and Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands)
Begin the day along the scenic South Coast with a stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where it is possible to walk behind the cascading water. From Landeyjahöfn, take a short ferry ride to the Westman Islands. On Heimaey, highlights include dramatic bird cliffs, Elephant Rock, and the volcanic crater formed during the 1973 eruption. The visit includes a tour of Eldheimar Museum, known as the “Pompeii of the North,” showcasing the island’s remarkable history and resilience.

Day 3: Lava Show, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, and Amphibian Boat Tour
Continue the journey to the town of Vík in Mýrdal, with a visit to the Lava Show, where molten lava is poured in a safe environment, demonstrating the raw power of Iceland’s volcanoes. Next, visit the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where shimmering icebergs floating in the water. An Amphibian boat tour offers a close-up experience of the incredible ice formations.

Day 4: Sólheimajökull Glacier, Glacier hike, and Skógafoss Waterfall
Explore Reynisfjara Beach, famous for its black sands, towering basalt columns, and powerful waves. The journey continues to Sólheimaj0kull Glacier for a glacier walk, offering a rare opportunity to witness the beauty of natural ice formations. Learn about the glacier’s creation and the impact of climate change on this unique environment.
After the glacier walk visit, stop at the majestic Skógafoss waterfall, known for its powerful cascade and vibrant rainbows, making it one of Iceland’s most iconic natural landmarks.

Day 5: Reykjavík City Tour, Blue Lagoon, and Reykjanes Peninsula
Start the day with a Reykjavík city tour, exploring key landmarks and enjoying a tasting of local Icelandic treats. Relax at the Blue Lagoon, soaking in its mineral-rich geothermal waters surrounded by striking lava fields.
The day concludes with a tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula, renowned for its volcanic landscapes and geothermal wonders. This region has experienced increased volcanic activity since 2021, including eruptions near Grindavík and the Fagradalsfjall volcanic system. Visitors will learn about these recent events and how Icelanders have adapted to living in such a dynamic environment, showcasing their resilience and innovative approaches to coexisting with nature’s forces.

Day 6: Solar Eclipse Day
Experience the marvels of Reykjavík, the Northernmost capital, at a leisurely pace. Stroll along Laugavegur, the charming main shopping street lined with unique boutiques, cozy cafes, and local art galleries. Take time to explore and discover Icelandic souvenirs to commemorate this unforgettable journey.
Later in the day, preparations begin for the incredible Solar Eclipse. As the moon aligns with the sun, the sky darkens, creating an awe-inspiring display of nature’s power. Special Solar Eclipse glasses will ensure safe viewing, while a telescope at a cozy restaurant provides an enhanced perspective of this rare celestial event.
The experience concludes with a delightful 3-course dinner and a glass of sparkling wine, offering a perfect moment to reflect on the extraordinary sights and sounds of the day. This celestial event promises to be a highlight of the journey.

Day 7: Golden Circle, Geothermal Taste, and Þingvellir National Park
Conclude the adventure with the iconic Golden Circle, exploring some of Iceland’s most renowned sites. Begin with a visit to Gullfoss waterfall, where glacial waters cascade into a dramatic canyon. Continue to the Geysir geothermal area to witness the spouting hot springs and enjoy a Geo Taste experience, sampling freshly baked hot spring bread paired with Icelandic butter, boiled eggs, and herring—a unique culinary tradition rooted in geothermal energy.
On our way back to Reykjavík we visit Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its stunning landscapes and the visible rift between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
