Angel Falls, the world’s highest single drop waterfall, is located in Canaima National Park in the south eastern part of the country. The park has many other waterfalls, including Canaima Lagoon, a collection of several enormous waterfalls. The fact that Angel Falls was not found until the 1930s speaks to its remote location. American pilot Jimmy Angel happened upon it when he crash landed there while looking for gold.

Relax in your hammock or by your riverside cabaña, then enjoy a hearty dinner with local flavors.

Caracas Half Day City Tour
Today we will discover Caracas' colonial roots, proudly displayed in its historic center. We will visit the Birthplace of Simón Bolívar "El Libertador", with its typically discreet and austere colonial architecture; the Concejo Municipal, where the Act of Venezuelan Independence was signed; La Casa Amarilla, the former Royal Prison and now the Foreign Office; El Capitolio, where two notable historical records can be found: the Act of Independence and the epic mural by Tovar y Tovar representing the battle of Carabobo; Plaza Bolívar, where the history of Caracas began. We continue to the Panteón Nacional, the most sacred building in the city. It is the last resting place for eminent Venezuelans. The vault of the pantheon is covered by paintings depicting scenes from Bolívar's life, all done by the important Venezuelan historical painter Tito Salas in the 1930s. We then continue to the colonial museum Quinta Anauco, built in 1797, laid out around a charming patio and surrounded by gardens. A long and illustrious line of marquises lived here until the death in 1837 of the last Marquis del Toro. This charming country house also welcomed Bolívar on his last visit to Caracas.
The rest of the day is your free so why not head to a local restaurant or do some shopping at one of Caracas' modern shopping malls?

Excursion to Cayo de Agua, Dos Mosquises, Espenky Keys, including boat transfer, box lunch with refreshments, chairs and beach umbrella.
Departing in the morning (around 9:30 am) and a journey of approximately 50 minutes will connect you with this impressive key whose main characteristic is to visualize how two masses of crystalline turquoise water collide or meet. An unforgettable paradise. The tranquillity and exclusivity of Cayo de Agua will make you never forget this destination. Walking along the famous isthmus or “Moses Pass” as the sandy path that connects the two parts of the island is popularly known depends on the weather and time of year.
To the south of Cayo de Agua is the small island of Dos Mosquises, where there is a marine fauna recovery centre. You can visit the facilities where specimens of hawksbill and green turtles are raised to repopulate the waters of Los Roques.

Day 3: Departure
Transfer to Gran Roque Airport.
Breakfast included. Late check out on the day of departure and boat transportation to a nearby key with picnic lunch before being transferred to the airport.
