A string of volcanic islands renowned for its natural beauty, genuine hospitality and stunning adventures.

Samoa offers a tropical paradise where you can immerse yourself in ancient culture & rich history. Meet the warm locals, explore magical waterfalls and lush tropical forests, join an exciting adventure tour, or simply fill your holiday relaxing on pristine beaches and swimming in crystal clear water.

Samoa’s two main islands are Upola which hosts the capital Apia, and Savai’i, the largest island of the group. Explore dramatic waterfalls and lush tropical forests, dive into crystal-clear freshwater pools, discover ancient volcanoes or swim with turtles. With magnificent views of the smaller outer islands, Lalomanu Beach is located on the south coast of Upolu and well worth a visit.

Samoa’s volcanic activity has left behind many fascinating landforms, particularly on Savai’i, which has huge lava tubes and spectacularly rugged coastlines of black volcanic rock to explore.

Upolu has a number of volcanic peaks too, notably the water-filled, bush-clad crater Lake Lanoto’o. The last three eruptions on this island are estimated to be a few hundred to a thousand years ago.
