We have tailored and designed many wonderful Mexico tours focusing on the highlights of the country which draw some of the largest tourist crowds in the entire world. While there is plenty to see and do in Mexico, most people focus their Mexico travel on checking out the amazing Meso-American ruins and remains.

Mexico is at its busiest with travellers during December. It is probably worth trying to avoid the summer break when hordes of American college students converge upon the beach resorts. Despite the undeniable influence of the US, travellers will be pleased to note that Mexico still retains its authentic charm and a close association with the rest of the Spanish-speaking world. The rich culture surrounds you, and the music and the smell of local cuisine provide strong and timely reminders of where you are.

Notable places to check out are the Yucatán peninsula and Cancún, as well as of Playa del Carmen and the ecological parks of Xel-Há and Xcaret. Further south you can find the historic port of Tulum which is notable for the wonderful cliff-side Mayan ruins. You will also want to see the pyramids of Teotihuacan, Chichen Itza and Uxmal. Finally, make sure you take time to relax on the perfect sun-kissed beaches of the tropical Mayan Riviera.

Eclipse Central America tours can easily be added to or adapted to suit whatever your specific needs are. Call us today for a no obligation quote on your perfect Mexico itinerary.
