Day 1 - Kilimanjaro: Arrive in Tanzania

Arrive in Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred approximately 1 hour to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 2 - 4 - Tarangire: 3 Day Oliver's Camp

3 Day Oliver's Camp
Embark on an unforgettable 3-day safari adventure at Oliver’s Camp in Tarangire National Park, where wild Africa comes alive! From thrilling game drives among towering baobabs and massive elephant herds to serene walking safaris and magical night drives, every moment is packed with wonder. With over 550 bird species and unmatched wildlife density, this is Tanzania at its wildest and most captivating.
Day 1: Arrival Day
After a leisurely breakfast, you will begin your journey with your guide to Tarangire National Park. You will drive southwest, through rural Tanzania, until you reach the park gate, where your game drive begins, exploring the riches of the park until you arrive at Oliver’s Camp. From here you can explore the colossal baobabs, grassy plains and vast herds of elephant among the unique landscapes of Tarangire National Park. There are also large herds of buffalo, and healthy populations of lion and leopard.

During the dry season, Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in the country, and more than 550 species of birds to spot throughout the year. Our knowledgeable safari guides will lead you on game drives and educational walking safaris to see the park at a slower pace. For a completely different perspective, an unforgettable early morning hot-air balloon safari over the plains gives you the chance to soar silently over the wildlife.

Lunch and Dinner included.

Day 2: Full Day Tarangire National Park
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Tarangire National Park. The name Tarangire is derived from the Tarangire River which provides permanent water for wildlife in the area. Famous for its tree climbing pythons, massive baobab trees and large herds of elephant, Tarangire National Park is small but still home to a significant wildlife population, with a density of wildlife matched only by Ngorongoro. Birding is particularly good here; the swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties; the most breeding species in one habitat anywhere in the world.

A safari at night is a thrilling and enlightening adventure, offering a unique layer of excitement. With limited vision, your remaining senses are piqued, cloaked as you are in the pitch-black night. Your guide uses a powerful spotlight, sweeping the beam over the surrounding bush, searching for the glint of an eye in the darkness.

Experience the thrill of observing Africa’s magnificent wildlife on foot while exploring its breathtaking landscapes on a walking safari.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 3: Departure Day
After a delicious breakfast surrounded by the early morning sounds of the bush, you will game drive out of the park and onward to The Highlands Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Breakfast included.

Day 4 - 6 - Ngorongoro: 3 Day The Highlands Camp Safari

3 Day The Highlands Camp Safari
The Highlands has redefined the Ngorongoro Crater experience, offering an array of activities afforded by the camp’s exclusive location and a combination of comfort and contemporary style. The award-winning camp with its eight domed canvas and glass suites is situated on the edge of a forest that skirts Olmoti Volcano. The surrounding Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The camp feels remote, but is within easy reach of Ngorongoro, where guests can go on day-long game drives to spot lions, elephants and giraffes, with a midday picnic break under a shady tree. At night, gather around a crackling fire with a glass of wine or whiskey before sitting down to a delicious three-course dinner.

Your stay includes: all meals, all house drinks (except champagne), game drives, Olmoti Crater hike, Empakaai Crater hike, airstrip transfers, limited laundry service, and park & conservation fees.
Day 1: Arrival Day
Arrive at The Highlands Camp on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim and get settled into your room and enjoy lunch. This afternoon you can either relax and enjoy the views from camp, or head out on a guided walk before returning to camp for a delicious dinner.

Olmoti Crater climb: Directly from camp, follow an old Maasai cattle trail through mountain forests, across grasslands and over rocky outcrops. Spot birds and butterflies along the trail. At the top, you’ll be rewarded by a magnificent view of the crater below.

Empakaai Crater climb: Descend into the Empakaai Crater with an NCA ranger and hike to the soda lake, famous for the pink flamingos that congregate around it turning the shores pink. Due to its location, The Highlands is the only property that can offer a convenient half-day excursion here.

Lunch and Dinner included.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Game Viewing
A highlight awaits you today as you depart through the early morning mists to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest natural wildlife arena, lead by a highly qualified guide in closed 4x4 game viewing vehicle. Being right on the rim, we have access to the Ngorongoro Crater soon after dawn, avoiding the dreaded mini-buses, to take you to see the outstanding volumes of wildlife: from some of Africa’s last rhinoceros to flamingoes to lovebirds. Spend the full day in the crater with a picnic lunch.

Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. A truly unique wildlife experience.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 3: Departure Day
After breakfast at the camp this morning, you will check out and be transferred to the Manyara airstrip for your scheduled flight.

Breakfast included.

Day 6 - 9 - Lake Manyara: Charter Flight Lake Manyara to Serengeti Lamai / 4 Day Ubuntu Migration Camp

Charter Flight Lake Manyara to Serengeti Lamai
Today you will board a short flight, departing from Lake Manyara airstrip and landing at Serengeti Lamai airstrip.

Please note: Your luggage is restricted to 15kgs per person including hand luggage and any camera equipment. Only soft bags will be accepted - no hard suitcases or bags with wheels can be transported as they physically cannot fit the aircraft.

4 Day Ubuntu Migration Camp
From June to mid-November, Ubuntu Camp sits on the Lamai Wedge in the north, where there are fewer camps and vehicles, perfectly positioned for photographers on safari looking to capture those first dramatic river crossings. From mid-December to mid-March, Ubuntu Camp is stationed in Kusini in the southern Serengeti. Positioned on a hillside, overlooking the expansive wildebeest-filled plains, the location provides access to a broader area of the migrating herds and the opportunity to go where the action is. This is also excellent cat territory, resulting in frequent action as predators identify and stalk vulnerable newborns across the plains. Whether in the north or the south, Ubuntu Migration Camp provides carefully considered locations which maximise the guest experience from both an exclusivity and wildlife access perspective.

Embark on an exhilarating 4-day safari at Ubuntu Migration Camp, where the magic of the Serengeti comes alive. Witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration and encounter Africa’s iconic wildlife on scheduled open vehicle game drives, guided by expert trackers. Enjoy full board accommodation in a stylish mobile camp that moves with the herds, offering front-row seats to nature’s greatest spectacle. This is an unforgettable journey into the heart of the wild—perfect for those seeking adventure, beauty, and serenity in equal measure.
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at Ubuntu Migration Camp and be warmly welcomed by the friendly camp team. After settling into your comfortable tented accommodation, you’ll receive a briefing on the exciting safari days ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to head out on your first open vehicle game drive, offering a thrilling introduction to the wildlife and landscapes of the Serengeti. In the evening, enjoy sundowners and a delicious dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Dinner included.

Day 2.-3: Game Drives
Enjoy both morning and afternoon scheduled game drives in open vehicles, guided by expert trackers who will help you uncover the secrets of the Serengeti. The dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife offer unforgettable sightings, from lion prides to massive herds of wildebeest. Between drives, relax at camp and soak in the views. As night falls, gather for drinks, dinner, and the peaceful ambiance of the African bush.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 4: Departure

At Eclipse Travel, our expert destination knowledge and decades of travel planning experience come at no extra cost to you. While many think booking through a tour operator is more expensive than planning a trip independently, that’s not the case. We’re paid by our travel partners—such as hotels, activity operators, and cruise providers—via commissions, not by our clients.

Our team negotiates the best rates for you and ensures you receive unbiased advice, with no preference for any particular supplier. In fact, where we secure higher commissions, we often pass the savings on to you, giving us a competitive price edge.

Additionally, we lock in exchange rates at the time of your deposit, ensuring no surprise costs when it’s time for final payment. You can rest easy knowing we’ll handle the details with our suppliers. The only exceptions are national park fee increases or fuel surcharges imposed after your booking, though these are rare.
