Day 1 - Mendoza: Arrive in Mendoza / City Tour
Arrive in Mendoza
On arrival at the airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
City Tour
Today you will head out to explore Mendoza following a picturesque circuit touring the old and new city, notable for its architectural layout, the traditional groves, the guidance system of water in ditches, wide and clean sidewalks. Walking through its streets, we will make contact with the history and the culture of the people that with great effort transformed the desert into a thriving oasis.
Our journey begins in the foundational area, historical site where Don Pedro del Castillo founded the city in 1561, where nowadays is located the Foundational Museum and Square and the Jesuitic ruins, vestiges of the city after the earthquake of 1861. Continuing our tour we will go through the main squares, which in its surroundings we can find the Cathedral, the St. Francis Basilica, the former Hipotecario Bank (now Ministry of Culture and Tourism) and the former Bank of Mendoza (now Contemporary Space of Art ), The Independencia and Spain squares, Civic district with the Government House. Later we will continue by the prestigious street Emilio Civit, residential area that leads to General San Martin Park, 370 ha., the green area of the city. We will enter through the famous gates called the horses of Marly, the Rosedal and Lake until we reach La Gloria Hill, where the Monument to San Martín and his army is located. Then we will go to Challao, where is located the Sanctuary which venerates the Virgin of Lourdes, and where we have spectacular views of the Mendocinian Mountains.
**Please note this shared tour operates on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings. For departures outside of these days, please use a private tour.
Day 2 - Mendoza: Andes Mountains Tour

Early today you will be met at your hotel and depart Mendoza City, travelling west to enter the Andes Mountain Road toward the border of Chile. Along the way you can admire, among other attractions, the superb view of Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas. You will visit Chacras de Coria, Potrerillos Valley, Uspallata Valley, Penitentes Ski Resort, the striking Incas Bridge (a natural formation of rock and sulphur which gives it its golden colour), and the border village of Las Cuevas. Weather conditions permitting, you will drive up 4,200, above sea level where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located on the border with Chile.
In the late afternoon you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 3 - Mendoza: Mendoza Wine Lodge Stay - Day at Leisure
Mendoza Wine Lodge Stay - Day at Leisure
Today you will be transferred to the Lares de Chacra wine lodge where you can spend the day as you wish.
Enjoy some time in the stunning swimming pool of the property, walk to one of many wine cellars located within a short proximity of the Lares de Chacra such as Pulmari or Clos de Chacras or visit the Chacra de Coria principal square.

Day 4 - Mendoza: Depart
